Things have been a bit crazy - but I have some meetings today so I thought I would do a bit of a blog catchup!
Here are a few of my favourite Mississipi pictures from the trip Caleb and I took. The idea was that this mission trip would be part of a year of preparation as Caleb hits 13 and begins to transition to being a man. I hope it was important to him and shaped a little bit of him.

The trip challenged me too - I have been thinking with some friends for a while about beginning a non-profit here in Hamilton to do a similar kind of thing. Basically help people who need it repair, tidy, etc...their house. Kind of a smaller version of mister Ty Peddington and Extreme Home Makeover; but with those in our community that we can build relationship with. The other neat element is that the organisation can double as a connecting point to the youth of our community who all need to do serious community service time to graduate. So, over the next few months I will be trying to put that all together. Any ideas of research leads would be great help.
