To enable a full bedroom above the newly renovated office, we added a large dormer to the roof line. This picture shows the new dormer from the side. In order to maximize headroom, the design called for some interesting angles which added a unique design element to the interior of the new dormer An additional door with step out porch was added for light and as a fire escape.
